The 32-year-old native of Braunschweig spent his early career with the city’s Basketball Löwen, honing his skills before moving to the NBA in 2013. Now, with the 2023 NBA season around the corner, Schröder is ready to return to his roots.

Schröder also has plans to reunite with former teammate Daniel Theis, who recently returned to Europe after eight years in the NBA. The pair are hoping to assemble a formidable lineup from the German National Team to represent Braunschweig.
