The measure applies with the numbers corresponding to the rotation for the second half of 2024, which came into effect last Monday, August 5.
The rule applies from Monday to Friday, between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The period of the new digits will be extended for the rest of 2024 and the regional and national connection routes are exempt: Avenida Regional, Las Palmas and the road to the West.
The same will apply to all streets in the neighborhoods. This Monday, the Pico y Placa is for numbers 0 and 2.
The restriction includes SUVs, motorized cars and four-wheelers, and will be based on the last digit of the license plate. For motorcycles, motorized tricycles, tricycles and two- and four-stroke mopeds, the first number of the license plate will apply.
For taxi rotation, the methodology agreed with the union of biweekly rotation is maintained, varying the day of the week for each month and taking into account only business days.
Electric, hybrid and natural gas vehicles with an updated traffic license do not need new written authorization for the exemption and are automatically registered, since the Ministry of Mobility has a connection with the National Single Transit Registry (RUNT).
