Standing tall at 2.03 m (6’8″), 28-year-old Samuel Idowu is ready to make an impact in the French Ablsr league. Born in the United States with Anglo-Nigerian dual nationality, Idowu first honed his skills in the NCAA, playing for the Saint Peacocks from 2015 to 2019.

His professional career then took him to various European leagues, starting in the Dutch D1 with LWD Basket in Leeuwarden (2019-2020), followed by Danish D1 at Team Fog Naestved (2020-2021), and Belgian-Netherlandish D1 with Qsta United (2021-2022). After an hiatus due to a knee injury in 2022-2023, Idowu made a strong comeback in the first English division with Leicester Riders (2023-2024).
