Published: February 26, 2026

Record Attendance at Indoor Tournament Highlights Club’s Growth

The Saint-Julien-l’Ars indoor tennis tournament, hosted by the Tennis Club Vienne and Moulière (TCVM), recently broke its attendance record with 120 players participating, and a waiting list of approximately fifteen people. This success underscores the growing popularity of the club and the demand for more playing facilities.

Innovation on the Court: Live Streaming on Twitch

The 2026 edition of the tournament saw a new initiative – live broadcasting of matches from Court No. 1 on the Twitch platform. Participants were also able to retrieve videos of their matches, a feature that proved popular.

Our project costs €130,000 and we need €100,000 Kevin Martin, President of TCVM

The Need for Outdoor Courts

Despite the success of the indoor tournament, TCVM President Kevin Martin emphasizes the need for outdoor courts to further the club’s development. Currently, the club relies solely on its two indoor courts, which are consistently in high demand.

The club is actively seeking funding for the construction of two outdoor courts, ideally semi-covered for year-round use with lighting.

Fundraising Efforts Underway

TCVM is pursuing various fundraising avenues, including an online prize pool on HelloAsso, and seeking support from local communities and the French Tennis Federation. Martin is also leveraging his tennis expertise to attract potential investors.

We launched an online prize pool (1), a video that created a buzz, we are asking for relays in communities and at the French Tennis Federation, etc. I use my tennis knowledge too. In fact, you would need a highly strong basic investor, capable of unlocking between €80,000 and €100,000. Kevin Martin, President of TCVM
