India and Australia will meet in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy tomorrow on Thursday morning. However, a surprise awaits the Indian fans in the fourth Test. India will enter the field in Melbourne with several changes.

Rohit Sharma can return to open with Yasswi Jaiswal. In that case, Lokesh Rahul will go down to three. Where will Shubman Gill bat? Gill may be sent to number six. Or he may be excluded. Dhruv Jurel or Sarfaraz Khan can be given in the middle order.

However, Gill’s record in away series is not very good either. He scored 616 runs in 22 innings at an average of 30.80. In that case, it will not be a surprise if Gill does not get a place in the XI in the fourth Test.

Not only Gill, Nitish Kumar Reddy may also miss the Melbourne Test. Washington Sunder can come in his place. India will play only two spinners in this Test. In that case, Washington and Ravindra Jadeja can get places.

As usual, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Akash Deep will be in the pace bowling attack.

India’s Probable XI:

Yashwi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma (captain), Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Shubman Gill/Dhruv Jurel/Sarfraz Khan, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah (vice-captain), Mohammad Siraj and Akash Deep.
