Facing stiff competition, Simon held his own in the +100 kg category, securing an honorable fifth place. His commendable performance was all the more impressive given the demanding nature of his weight class.
Qualification for French Championships
Both judokas have qualified for the upcoming French championships in early June:
- Enrick will participate in the second division,
- Simon will compete in the third division.
