The Indian shuttler dominated Jakobsen 21-4, 21-10 in just 27 minutes, demonstrating her class and determination on court. She won the first game in a breeze, taking just over 10 minutes to secure the lead.

Tien Chen Outlasts Shetty in Thriller

Meanwhile, young Indian shuttler Ayush Shetty put up a valiant fight but fell short against sixth-seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei in the men’s singles opening round. The match lasted 68 minutes, with Chen prevailing 19-21, 21-12, 21-16.
