Puylaurens. Judo was successfully established in the town

Two years ago, the MJC of Puylaurens hosted a judo event, which returned to the town, thanks to a great collaboration between the structure and the Ei-Do-Kan of Castres.

Since the start of the school year in September 2024, many children and adults have attended the course, taught by Guillaume Cailleux, at the gymnasium in Puylaurens. The professor has a good record in the sport, thanks to more than thirty years of experience as a judoka. The rural branch of Eidokan in Puylaurens is also good with more than twenty licensees divided into three groups such as, the “pitchouns” from 5 to 6 years old, followed by the small and medium section from 7 to 13 years old and that. for older children aged 14 and over. In this order that it is possible to find them every Thursday from 5:30 pm It is still possible to register, three members have just been registered. Professor Guillaume Cailleux also wants to give a nod to the Eidokan of Castres, which once again introduced itself in the preselections for the French championship, in Fleurance, in Gers. In fact, with its four representatives Stéphane, Houcine, Christophe and Elsa that the club well defended the colors of the Tarn, returning with four podiums. Not less than two meetings per fighter for these four musketeers who all award themselves, without any jealousy, in a third place. A little well-deserved rest at the end of the year before the elections, which are almost here. The club encourages them to continue their journey on January 26, in Montauban, to win the ticket that will take them to the French championships near Paris.

Training for adapted sports judo will take place on Wednesday, from 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm, at the Eidokan in Castres.
