Debut in Düsseldorf for 850 Fantom, the second model born from the collaboration between the Frauscher shipyard and the German car manufacturer. One hundred km of autonomy and almost 50 knots of speed
Frauscher is an Austrian shipyard that has been pursuing the path of electric motorboats for years. They have found their natural habitat on Garda thanks also to the experience and passion of the importer Mauro Feltrinelli of the shipyard of the same name, heir to a dynasty that has been building boats since the 15th century: beyond those managed by private individuals, they are the tenders of service of grand hotels. The first leap in quality with the range came with the 850 Fantom Air, created in collaboration with Porsche which made the propulsion technology of the electric Macan available. At Boot Düsseldorf 2025, the greatest winter nautical event, we will see the 850 Fantom, the second boat “signed” by the partnership: it is a runabouti.e. a hull where a cabin is created under the bow. Making an automotive comparison, the 850 Fantom is a coupé while the 850 Fantom Air – completely open – recalls the convertible. Both have a length of 8.67 meters and a width of 2.49.
PORSCHE ELEMENTS
—
The design, curated by the FA Porsche and Style Porsche studio, is very clean, with superior category details. The cockpit incorporates elements typical of Porsche cars, starting from the steering wheel and seats with logo. The cabin offers surprising comfort considering the size, with the option of an electric toilet. The boat can be customized in color and materials for the hull, as well as in the upholstery and details inside, with finishes in Oakgreen Metallic Neo and Truffle Brown padding with Orange stitching. Technology is one of the pluses: the 12-inch infotainment display integrates depth sounder, chart plotter and Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Standard features include LED lighting, underwater lights and a premium audio system.

HIGH VOLTAGE
—
Thanks to the Porsche Macan’s permanent magnet synchronous motor and 100 kWh high-voltage battery, the boat reaches a maximum speed of 49 knots (90 km/h) in Sport Plus mode and guarantees a range of up to 100 km at speed reduced. The system includes sophisticated electronics to optimize power and a silicon carbide inverter for high switching frequencies. The wire rope suspension system reduces the impact of waves at high speeds, while charging is supported in direct current up to 270 kW and in alternating current up to 11 kW. The 850 Fantom has a base price of 572,934 euros (excluding VAT) and is produced at the Frauscher shipyard in Ohlsdorf, with Porsche supplying the pre-assembled propulsion modules. The boat will be available in a limited edition of 25 units, with deliveries expected after the launch at Boot Düsseldorf, scheduled for January 18-25.
