Paul Di’Anno, former lead singer of Iron Maiden, died this Monday, October 21 at 66 years of age; The news was announced by his record label, Conquest Music, through an official statement on social networks.

“On behalf of his family, Conquest Music regrets to confirm the death of Paul Andrews, known professionally as Paul Di’Anno, who passed away at his home in Salisbury,” they wrote.

Also on the official networks of the group ‘Iron Maden’ a few words were shared in tribute, where they expressed that they were able to live special moments with him before his departure.

We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to catch up a couple of years ago; On behalf of the band, Rod, Andy and the entire Iron Maiden team, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and close friends.

The band highlighted the talent and contribution of Paul Andrews as the band’s first leader and vocalist, something that will never be forgotten by them or the fans.

“It’s very sad that he’s gone,” wrote guitarist Steve Harris.“I was in contact with him recently, we were texting about West Ham and their ups and downs. At least until recently he was still playing, it was something that kept him going, being there whenever he could. We will all miss him. Rest in peace, friend.”
