A delegation from the Association of Niaogholais living in Gabon presented, this Tuesday, January 14, 2025, to the high commissioner of the Boulgou province, Constantin Dabiré, a check for 1,000,000 CFA francs for the Patriotic Support Fund.
The Burkinabè of Gabon stand in solidarity with their country in the reconquest of the national territory. To express their support for the Burkinabè authorities, the Association of Niaogholais living in Gabon (ANG) presented, this Tuesday, January 14, 2024, in Tenkodogo, in the Center-East region, a check for 1,000,000 CFA francs to the commissioner of the province of Boulgou, Domèbèguièrè Constantin Dabiré. The donation, according to the representative of the association of 150 members, created three years ago, Salam Guébré, aims to help, a little, the President of Faso, to boost terrorism outside the country. “ We cannot sit back and watch our country fall into the hands of terrorists. If this happens, we will not be able to return home. This is why we have joined forces to come and help the country’s main leaders to boost terrorism outside our territory.», justified the representative of the association.
High Commissioner Dabiré welcomed the ANG’s gesture. For him, this rather important contribution is proof that the Burkinabè diaspora, even far from the country, recognizes that it belongs to one and the same nation. He took the opportunity to invite all potential contributors, particularly the diaspora, to follow in the footsteps of the ANG. According to Constantin Dabiré, the President of Faso’s call for a general mobilization of all Burkinabè remains relevant. “ We are at a decisive turning point; this is why we must not let our guard down. It is important that everyone remains mobilized until final victory”he added.
