The Pampas Tennis Federation (FPT) closed the year by awarding the tennis players who played in the tournaments organized by the association in various courts in Santa Rosa and General Pico, as well as special mentions.
The awards ceremony took place last Saturday at the Mercantile Recreation fields of the Centro Empleados de Comerció, where athletes, leaders and relatives had a moment of joy, leaving behind a season that included the first edition of the “Circuito Male Professional”, which. they distributed 1,500,000 pesos in prizes and were awarded points for the national ranking.
Tennis in this region, which has about 80 members, began the season at the end of February and ended in November, although some teams, such as juniors, have been playing since April. The second, third and fourth played five scoring days; including the master’s degree held at the capital of Pampas, where 2024 scholars were discovered.
The top group, the free group, had five days, as well as the group of major groups, whose games were held in the fields of Independiente and Pico FBC of General Pico and Estudiantes, Centro Empleados de Comercio de Santa Rosa, Lowo Che de Toay and Médanos Greens .
In both the free and the second, MatÃas Pérez, from Santa Rosa living in Pico, was chosen as the champion, and the last was the native of Santa Rosa Abel Bergonzi. These two footballers showed a huge difference from the rest.
