Academy Raggisolaris Faenza won at Castel San Pietro
External shot of Raggisolaris Academy in Castel San Pietro. A fundamental success that allowed the Faenza team to continue in second place, protecting it from the attacks of their pursuers.
Academy started slowly and couldn’t find the way to the basket, so at the end of the first quarter they had to trail 13-23. Recovery did not take long to come and in fact the game returned to the balance with the Faenza team achieving parity in the 18th minute and overtaking Bendandi (37-35) but could not stop their game. The same script in the third period, which ended with the visitors leading 58-56 in the 30th minute, then Faenza took the lead. An aggressive defense that allowed just 9 points in the quarter and a fast game baffled Castel San Pietro who suffered long runs. Naccari scored 63-58 with a three-point play, starting the breakaway that made it 72-61 in the 37th minute, which Garavini reached thanks to another stolen ball. Academy also reached 75-61 with Garavini’s triple, thus managing to lead until the final siren.
In the next round of the championship, Raggisolaris Academy will play on Friday 20 December at 9 pm at International Imola.
