Pakistan all out for 211 runs sport

Pakistan could not take advantage in the first innings at Centurion. After losing the toss and batting, they were all out for 211 runs in 57.3 overs.

Dan Patterson took 5 wickets with 61 runs in 16 overs. And the anointed Corbin Bosch took 4 wickets with 63 runs in 15 overs with 4 maidens. Marco Janssen took the other wicket.

Kamran Ghulam was the only fifty in Pakistan’s innings. He scored 54 runs off 71 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. Amer Jamal scored the second highest 28 runs. His innings had 4 fours and 1 six. Mohammad Rizwan scored 27 runs in 2 fours.

Captain Shan Masood scored 17, Saim Ayub scored 14 and Saud Sakil scored 14 runs. None of the rest could score more than 11 runs.

If they win this Test, South Africa will confirm the final of the ICC World Test Championship for the first time.

South Africa was unable to respond in the beginning. First wicket for 7 runs, second wicket for 24 runs and third wicket for 66 runs. But with the bat of opening batsman Aiden Markram and the tenacity of Temba Bavuma, the hosts ended the first day with 82 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. They are behind Pakistan by 129 runs.
