President Pablo Longoria of Olympique de Marseille (OM) attended the march against drug trafficking held in Marseille on Saturday, November 22. The Spaniard initially stated he would not be present, but changed his mind and attended discreetly.
Longoria joined the crowd at the Claudie Darcy roundabout in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille, paying tribute to Mehdi Kessaci, a young man who was recently murdered in the same place.

Roberto De Zerbi, the coach of OM, was also touched by the tragedy and expressed his feelings on Thursday, on the eve of the trip to Nice. “I hear everything, I am affected. I am aware, I know this story well. This saddens me, because these things should not happen,” he said.
