World No. 25 Weng continued his impressive run by defeating fifth seed Antonsson in a thrilling match after narrowly defeating Chinese Taipei’s Chu Tien Chen. 21. Weng will face Indonesia’s Jonathan Christie in the semi-finals after a convincing 21-18, 21-12 win over China’s Le Lanxi. Japan’s Kodai Naraoka will face Thailand’s Kunlavut Vithidsar, who defeated Indonesia’s Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the other semi-final, marking a tournament where none of the top five seeded men’s singles have advanced to the semi-finals.
