Judo Olympiens Saleilles & Saint-Estève Judo Club Host Thrilling Youth Judo Camp

Camp Overview

The Judo Olympiens Saleilles and Saint-Estève Judo Club collaborated to host a thrilling weeklong judo camp from July 20 to 26, 20XX. A total of 33 young judokas alongside seven dedicated supervisors participated in the event, which combined judo training, fun activities, and team-building exercises.

Morning Routines and Judo Training

Each day began with a muscle awakening session and a jog at 7:15 AM to set the tone for the day. Judo training followed, with an emphasis on technique and engagement. Expert coaches, including Nicolas Laplance (4th dan black belt) and Émile Laplanche (3rd dan black belt), led the sessions.

Exploring the Coastline

After morning judo sessions, participants embarked on a scenic hike along the coastal path between Paulilles and Banyuls-sur-Mer. Despite the wind, the group enjoyed a refreshing breath of fresh air, taking in the beautiful coastal landscapes and coves.

Pool Time and Team Bonding

On the final day, Sunday, the group returned to the tatamis for another intense judo session. Afterwards, they enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the campsite swimming pool, followed by games, tests, and teambuilding activities.

Special Thanks

“A huge congratulations to the judokas for their motivation,” said a representative from the organizing committee. Special thanks go to Nicolas Laplance and Émile Laplanche for their supervision, the guides, and the town halls of Saleilles and Saint-Estève for providing the Dojos.
