The winner of the silver medal in the all-around from this year’s Paris Olympics, Borjana Kalein, held an open rhythmic gymnastics lesson in the “Strength” hall in Plovdiv.

The organizer of the event was the local club “Diana”, whose athletes had the opportunity to receive valuable advice from the Olympic vice-champion.

“I realize more and more clearly how important this medal was for all of Bulgaria and for these little girls that I see today in the hall. I am very happy with the success I achieved and I am glad that I can be an example for these children. These events they give me a lot of positive emotions.

“Working with young kids is such a joy – seeing how you can be an example for them, get them started and fire them up,” said Kalein, admitting that she has not yet decided whether to continue her racing career.

The former national competitor Diana Popova, on whose initiative the event was held, announced that the next open lesson will be given by the Italian grace Milena Baldassari.
