“Olympiakos” made the match more difficult than necessary, but still won against ASVEL in the 9th round of the Euroleague Basketball.

Alexander Vezenkov’s team seemed to underestimate their rival from France, almost continuously fell behind and only in the last part with 94:92 secured the 6th victory of the season in the most prestigious club tournament on the continent.

The Bulgarian star was again No. 1 for the Greek team with 21 points, but at the end he missed two penalty shots and the visitors could have won with the attack in the remaining seconds. This caused an atypical reaction from Vezenkov, who tore his tank top in anger.

On Thursday, “Olympiakos” visits the Israeli “Maccabi” in Belgrade.
