Nuno Espirito Santo’s tenure at Al Ittihad has come to an end. The Saudi team announced the departure of the Portuguese coach after a year in charge through a statement on social media.

Al Ittihad’s poor performance has been the main reason for Nuno’s departure, and the team is already searching for a replacement. Despite winning the Saudi championship and the Saudi Arabian Super Cup last year, Nuno’s recent two consecutive defeats and being eleven points behind the current leader in the Saudi Professional League, Al Hilal, sealed his fate at Al Ittihad.
