The Serbian tennis player was precisely the last to win consecutive editions of this tournament, he did it in London four years in a row, between 2012 and 2015. But from then until he became champion again in 2022, Nole lost two finals, in 2016 against Andy Murray and in 2018 against Alexander Zverev.

This is the third edition of the Nitto ATP Finals to be held in Turin, in 2023 Alexander Zverez was the champion, against Daniil Medvedev, and last year the champion was Novak Djokovic, who defeated Casper Ruud.

This will be the fourth meeting on the circuit between Sinner and Djokovic. The Serbian won the first three, in Monte Carlo in 2021, at Wimbledon in 2022 and also at the British Grand Slam this year. Sinner, for his part, beat the Serbian a few days ago in the current tournament, the Nitto ATP Finals, in an agonizing match whose second and third sets were decided in a tie break.

In yesterday’s semifinals, Sinner beat Daniil Medvedev, who won the second set in the tie break but whom he beat by a clear 6-1 in the third, while Djokovic gave Carlos Alcaraz no chance, whom he beat in 2-0 (6-3 and 6-2).

A couple of days ago the Italian had the opportunity to make the carom so that Nole would be eliminated if he had succumbed in the third match against Holger Rune but he did not do so and today he will face the Serbian in the final.

Good afternoon and welcome to the grand final of the Nitto ATP Finals where Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic will compete for the title.
