North Korea crowned champion of the U-20 Women’s World Cup

Choe Il Son scored the winning goal and remains the tournament’s top scorer.

The grand final was an Asian match between North Korea and Japan; although the best performance in the U-20 Women’s World Cup was by DPR Korea with 24 goals for and four against, this Sunday the final of the U-20 Women’s World Cup was played at the El Campín stadium in Bogotá, where the new queens of the tournament are North Korea.
