After four consecutive league triumphs, the players of Dugi Selo suffered a minimal 1:0 defeat away from Kustošija. Roko Peroš scored the deciding goal for the home team in the 65th minute.
With this victory, Kustoshija overtook Dugoselce in the championship standings, and is now the fifth-placed team in the league with 15 points, while Dugo Selo remained at 14 points, but fell to sixth place.
– One very difficult and equal match. Tactically, a lot of outmaneuvering from one side and the other, and judging by everything and what was shown on the field, we didn’t deserve to lose, I think a draw would be the most realistic outcome, but that’s football.
