The Government of Antioquia presented a tourist chatbot available on WhatsApp as part of your strategy Antioquia is Magic. This virtual assistant uses artificial intelligence to provide detailed information about tourist attractions, routes, services, gastronomy and more, in Spanish and English. To facilitate accessibility, it does not require downloading additional applications and seeks to connect tourists and operators in real time.
The chatbot offers information about more than 80 municipalities in the department, acting as a virtual guide that optimizes the experience of national and international visitors.

In addition to improving the user experience, the chatbot will collect data on tourists’ preferences and behaviors. This information will be analyzed by the Sustainable Tourism Observatory of Antioquia, part of the UN Network of Sustainable Tourism Observatories, strengthening local and international strategies for more efficient and sustainable tourism.
The virtual assistant can be installed using a QR code and operated from WhatsApp, guaranteeing a simple and friendly interaction.
