Chris Paul was the focus of the San Antonio Spurs’ 121:116 win against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 39-year-old Spurs point guard recorded ten assists and passed Jason Kidd as the second-best assist provider in NBA history with a career total of 12,099 assists (in 1,296 games). Paul is only behind John Stockton, who is clearly in the lead with 15,806 assists.
NBA superstar Nikola Jokić led the Denver Nuggets to a 141-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Serb, who was in top form, scored 48 points and had 14 rebounds and eight assists. For the Hawks it was the first defeat after six victorious games.
The Philadelphia 76ers won 108:100 at the Chicago Bulls when Joel Embiid (knee) returned, Embiid contributed 31 points.
