Reddick on Bronny: “He’s so easy to coach”
“He can do things defensively that are really unique at his size. He can be a really effective defender,” said new Lakers head coach JJ Redick. “That has been shown. He is still finding out who he is on offense. Our job is to get this development done.”
Reddick is confident because Bronny is “so easy to coach” and has “a great attitude.”
Another newcomer to the Lakers is already significantly further along in the offense. Dalton Knecht, the No. 17 pick in the draft, scored 16 points in 25 minutes (7/13 FG).
Austin Reeves impressed from the Lakers’ stars with 16 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. D’Angelo Russell had 14 points. In addition to LeBron James, Anthony Davis was also missing.
For the T-Wolves, who played without superstar Anthony Edwards, Rob Dillingham (21 points) and Luca Garza (20) scored best.
