Stephen Curry and LeBron James started the match between the Warriors and Lakers on Christmas, but they weren’t the only stars. 10 points from Andrew Wiggins gave Golden State an eight-point advantage (23-15), but five from Dalton Knecht allowed the Lakers to tie, despite the exit of Anthony Davis due to injury (23-23). The people of Los Angeles took the lead due to a 16-2 run launched again by the James – Knecht duo (30-39), but Dennis Schroder and Trayce Jackson-Davis, then Curry’s triple at the time ended up putting the interval at 52-55.

Curry’s fifth triple brought the new tie (67-67). The Lakers started flying again with a 17-6 break that was closed at the end of the third quarter by two triples from Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura (73-84). Jonathan Kuminga woke up the Warriors, Rui Hachimura and LeBron James took control (85-93). Max Christie joins in to stop Curry with 90″ left (100-109) going on 8 points in less than a minute and the equalizer with a crazy 3-point shot with 8″ seconds ( 113-113).

So it was Austin Reaves’ turn to finish off an incredible individual performance (26 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds) to beat Andrew Wiggins one-on-one and score a lay-up to give the Lakers a nice Christmas present.
