There is Michael Jordan, the center is “old school”
All NBA fans, sooner or later, create their ideal team. Barack Obama decided to announce his All Time quintet to the public, stating that they were chosen to “… beat anyone”. Five iconic players with a particular choice about the starting center, definitely “old school”.
In the role of the starting point guard of his All Time quintet, the former president of the United States chose Steph Curry because “… I need some shooting and some style, so I throw my friend Steph Curry in the mix. Because we are in the era of the three-point shot and he is the best shooter ever, without a doubt.
Look, obvious choice: Michael Jordan (“I’m from Chicago, so Michael Jordan is the shooting guard”). As a small forward, however, the choice fell on LeBron James. King James will be “used” as Barack Obama’s point guard, to stabilize the ball as much as possible.
At power forward, it’s Kevin Durant’s turn because, as Barack Obama explained, “… I’m going with KD as probably the most efficient and effective scorer in the history of the game.” Finally, as the starting center, the surprise, which is Hakeem Olajuwon, winner of two NBA titles, with the Rockets, in the 90s: “He will be perfect for basketball today”, the comment of the former president of the US itself.
