Mikael Lindberg rules the house. In front of his home crowd, the Swede flashed his consistency by returning with a second straight 67. Although he conceded three bogeys, the two-time Challenge Tour winner made the difference with five birdies and an eagle, which collected the gong at 18.

It was a beautiful day. I felt like I played better yesterday (Thursday), but I drove well and made some putts today. I was a little aggressive to begin with. I think I’ve used my driver on almost every hole in these two rounds and it’s been working really well so far. I hope it will continue to work over the weekend. », commented Lindberg who took the leadership seat (-8 total), where he replaced Julien Sale.

Sale and Pineau in the first group of pursuers

Despite a complicated start (bogey on 2, double bogey on 3), the Frenchman, who leads after 18 holes, found the necessary resources to reverse the trend and save a card on par (another bogey, four birdies). So the Reunionese stayed in the race and placed 2nd (-6 overall), along with seven other competitors, including Dermot McElroy, Lars van Meijel and his compatriot Pierre Pineau. Also an author of a double bogey in 3, the latter nevertheless completed the course in 70 strokes (six birdies, three bogeys).

Six other Blues made the cut

George Bloor, Rikard Karlberg and Bryce Easton 10th (-5 total). At the gates of this top 10 (12th), Benjamin Hébert, Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Oihan Guillamoundeguy have, like the previous day, each recorded the same record of 69, which has risen to -4. Among the other French representatives involved, Clément Guichard posted an outstanding round of 66 (five birdies), making no mistakes. The 23-year-old gained 88 places and is in 26th place (-2).

Likewise, Andoni Etchenique, Julien Quesne, Felix Mory (97th, + 3), Jérôme Lando-Casanova, Clément Berardo (106th, + 4), Robin Roussel (130th, + 7), Maxence Giboudot th -144, + 10) and Alexandre Daydou (departure), stop there.
