March 16, 2026
Following Jannik Sinner’s victory at the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday, the world’s top tennis players, including Joao Fonseca and Felix Auger-Aliassime, have arrived in Miami to prepare for the Miami Open presented by Itau.
The main draw action is set to begin on Wednesday.
Player Preparations
Felix Auger-Aliassime is seeded seventh in Miami and will begin his campaign against either Marton Fucsovics or a qualifier.

Ahead of his second main-draw appearance in Miami, Joao Fonseca practiced with American Tommy Paul, whom he recently defeated in the third round at Indian Wells. Fonseca will face Carlos Alcaraz, the No. 1 ranked player, in the second round.

Fifth seed Alex de Minaur is in the same quarter as fourth seed Lorenzo Musetti. De Minaur will face Stefanos Tsitsipas or a qualifier in the second round.

Sebastian Korda, a quarter-finalist in Miami in 2025, is aiming for another strong showing. He won the Delray Beach title earlier this year.
