Published: March 9, 2026
Local Sports Associations Receive Financial Support
The Lédenon municipal council recently approved a budget that includes subsidies for a variety of local associations. A total of €7,050 has been allocated to support these groups, reflecting the council’s commitment to community enrichment.
- Parents’ Association (APAE): €1,500
- Friends of the Aqueduct: €500
- Boule du Castellas: €450
- Club Gym Fit & Form: €800
- Club Li Ginestes: €800
- Hunting Association (St Hubert de Lédenon): €750
- Entente sportive des 3 Moulins (ES3M): €400
- Judo Club: €600
- Chorale de Meynes La Ritournelle: €100
- Les p’tits loups: €100
- Dream Team (Association which organizes soapbox races): €800
- Trekeuses: €250
The difference in funding amounts, beyond minor increases, is attributed to the creation of the new “Les Trekeuses” group, the resumption of activities by the APAE, and the allocation of funds to the Hunting Association this year.
Solar Park Expansion Moves Forward
In a separate unanimous decision, the council approved modifications to the “Épicéas 3” solar park, located at the Pont d’argent site, adding plot D 930 (1,780 m²) for “access, construction, maintenance and operation connection.”
Following an impact study, the council agreed to measures compensating for environmental impacts, focusing on the preservation of two species: the Ophrys spider-shaped (Ophrys arachnitiformis) and the European nightjar (Caprimulgus europeanus). This will involve managing degraded municipal spaces.
Project leaders will have access to 544,040 m² of land, retaining between 12 and 15 hectares depending on the chosen ratio. Financial compensation will be provided, starting at €3,000 upon signing and ranging from €9,600 to €12,000 annually based on the area retained. A promise of agreement has been granted.
The council also accepted a request for land clearing related to the rights of way for both Épicéas 1 (La Garrigue) and Épiceas 3 (Pont d’argent) parks. Beneficiaries will be responsible for “wooded compensation”
or equivalent financial payment after site visits to assess protected wooded areas.
