PSG’s Kolo Muani: Transfer Uncertainty as Juventus Talks Drag On
PSG’s Transfer Plans for Kolo Muani Hit a Roadblock
As the summer transfer window nears its close, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is looking to offload certain players, with French forward Randal Kolo Muani being one of the candidates. The Ligue 1 champions had hoped to reach an agreement with Juventus for his transfer, but so far, negotiations have proven unsuccessful.
Juventus Eyes Alternatives, Aided by a Former Parisian
Juventus, unable to reach an agreement with PSG for Kolo Muani, may now explore other options. The Italian club has shown interest in Belgian international Lois Openda, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport. Interestingly, a former PSG player, Christopher Nkunku, could potentially play a role in this transfer. Nkunku is currently with RB Leipzig, and if he returns to the German club, they could be open to letting Openda go, which could, in turn, help Juventus in their pursuit.
Did you know?
This isn’t the first time Juventus has expressed interest in a former PSG player. Last year, Juventus tried to bring back PSG’s Idrissa Gueye on a loan deal.
What’s Next for Kolo Muani?
- If Juventus finds a suitable alternative, Kolo Muani’s future with PSG becomes uncertain.
- However, if Juventus decides to return to the Kolo Muani negotiations, the transfer could still materialize.
