Medellín is preparing to be the epicenter of technological innovation in the energy sector with the third edition of N-TECH 2024. The event, which will take place at the El Tesoro Events Center, will bring together technology companies from Latin America and the world, along with leaders of the region’s energy sector, to present advances and innovative solutions in energy efficiency, decarbonization, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
During the two-day event, attendees will be able to participate in a business roundtable with important companies such as AXIATECH, HITACHI, EPM and ISA, among others. In addition, an academic agenda will be developed that will include technological pitches where startups and entrepreneurs will present disruptive ideas applicable to the energy sector.
N-TECH 2024 will also be the stage for the presentation of the CIER Innovation Award, which will recognize outstanding projects in the categories of Digitalization, Decarbonization, Decentralization and Innovation Platforms. The event will also mark the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Colombian Committee of the CIER (COCIER), a key institution in the integration and strengthening of the energy sector in Colombia.
COCIER Executive Director Juan Carlos Delgado Ortiz highlighted the importance of N-TECH 2024 as a unique opportunity to generate strategic alliances and promote investment in technologies that will drive energy transformation in the region.
