The city of Medellín continues its transformation towards a more sustainable city with the construction of a new green corridor between the Exposiciones roundabout and the San Diego roundabout. This intervention, led by the Botanical Garden, will cover 783 square meters and will have nine planters distributed along the central separator, replacing concrete with vegetation.
These works are part of the District’s efforts to mitigate climate change, reduce urban temperatures and increase biodiversity. Since 2016, Medellín has consolidated 30 green corridors, becoming a world leader in sustainability issues.
