In Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (Val-d’Oise), the Maubuisson Abbey shows its rich heritage through many events throughout the summer. Meetings for all ages and all audiences.

Abbey of Val-d’Oise
An olfactory experience that brings together visual artists, perfumers, ceramists and even illuminators. The archaeological objects associated with the site of Maubuisson are compared to the works of artists Marie Amar, Berdaguer & Pejus, Daniela Busarello, Morgan Courtois, Julie C. Fortier, Michèle Nadal, Marie-France Parronchi, and Daniel Pescio.
Historic visit
On August 25, 2024, a guided tour tracing the history of the abbey will take place at 2:30 p.m. Go back eight centuries by exploring the walls of this estate, halfway between the silence of Cistercian architecture and the beauty of a royal necropolis.
From the chapter room, to the flow of water from the collecting canal, which passes through the remains of the old church, the visitor can see the daily life of the nuns in the Middle Ages formed.
Enjoy the walk
