Marc ter Stegen to Miss German National Team’s Matches Due to Back Pain

German Selector Julian Nagelsmann Announces Marc ter Stegen’s Injury

Concerns for the German National Team

Julian Nagelsmann, the German national team selector, revealed on Friday that Marc ter Stegen has encountered some minor issues during the team’s training camp. Nagelsmann stated, “He will miss the upcoming matches due to discomfort in his back. He will fly back to Barcelona tomorrow and we hope he recovers quickly to rejoin the team.”

This unfortunate development means that Barcelona’s goalkeeper will be unavailable for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Turkey. Ter Stegen’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by the team, as his skills and experience are highly valued.
