Marc Bartra, a defender for Real Betis Balompié, has come forward to support his teammate, Isco Alarcon, who faced derogatory chants from Sevilla FC fans during The Great Derby on November 12, 2023, which marked the 13th day of the league. Bartra expressed his disappointment in a video interview on the program “The Day After” by Movistar+, emphasizing that certain actions should not be tolerated in football. He took to his social media platform to condemn the chants, stating, “This is a shame. You can’t allow things as disastrous as this. It seems that in football anything goes… NOT EVERYTHING IS WORTH, gentlemen. NOT EVERYTHING IS WORTH. Regrettable.” Despite the negativity, Isco Alarcon managed to deliver an outstanding performance on the field.
