The competition that took place in the 10 meter pistol and rifle categories, both in the women’s and men’s categories, became a promotion of this discipline in the department.
In a meeting that brought together more than 20 athletes, the Magdalena Shooting League, together with the Naval Cadet School of Cartagena, carried out the Sports Shooting Exchange in Santa Marta.
Carlos Rolón, president of the Magdalena Leagues Association and the Magdalena Shooting League, expressed his satisfaction with the completion of this sports exchange. “These events are fundamental for the growth of sports shooting in our region. They allow us to promote the practice of this sport, identify new talents and strengthen ties between different institutions,” said Rolón.
The president of the league also highlighted the importance of having the support of government entities, who have been a key player in the development of this type of initiatives. “We thank all the entities that have supported us in this project. Their commitment shows that sport is a priority for our community,” concluded Rolón.
With this sports exchange, the Magdalena Shooting League and the Cartagena Naval Cadet School reaffirm their commitment to the development of sports in the region.
