The New York Knicks continue to improve and during their visit to the camp of the Suns they increased their fourth consecutive victory by winning 138 to 122.

The team led by Tom Thibodeau has been very good with at least 130 points in the last two games, numbers that have not been reached in 36 years.

In the first six games of the regular season, they launched only 31 triples per game; However, they have produced a dramatic turnaround with almost 40 tries in their last eight games. In the same way, they climbed to the Top-3 of the best three-pointers in the NBA, behind the Cavaliers and Warriors.

Last night the entire starting five scored at least two triples, and Cameron Payne and Tyler Kolek combined for three off the bench. Overall they finished 19/39 on triples, representing almost 40% success.

“The championship has changed and so has the philosophy of the game. The players have also changed. They have evolved. And the centers especially need more than before,” Karl Anthony-Towns acknowledged.

“The game is completely different and we continue to adapt. So far this philosophy of the game (the triple) has had a lot of success. “Everyone is trying to win the championship,” he explained.

The Dominican dominated under the scoreboard with 34 points, 10 rebounds and two assists, which was his 12th double-double of the season. In addition, he scored on 12/19 attempts, of which 3/8 were three-pointers.

It’s worth noting that Towns is averaging an impressive 51% on three-pointers, which is 7th best in the entire league.

Jalen Brunson added another double-double with 36 points and 10 assists, and all five of his starters contributed double-digit scorers, including reserve Cameron Payne.

  • Brunson: Score 36.
  • CITY: Score 34.
  • AND Anunoby: 14 points and 7 rebounds.
  • Ponti Mikal: 16 points.
  • Josh Hart: 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.

“The boys started with a good rhythm. The chemistry was very good. We pressed the ball and moved quickly in the next action. As long as we continue to move and attack the space, I think things will come up in themselves,” Thibodeau explained.
