Melbourne 2025: Lewis Hamilton Debuts in Style at Australian Grand Prix

Ahead of the race weekend, the Lewis Hamilton has made a statement in the paddock, sporting an all-black outfit for the 2025 season’s first practice sessions in Melbourne. This marks his fashion debut with his new team, theFerrari Scuderia.
Hamilton’s Fashion Journey Hamilton, a seven-time Formula 1 world champion, has a well-known affinity for fashion. He has collaborated with major fashion brands throughout his illustrious career, like Tommy Hilfiger, with whom he has been a brand ambassador since 2018. He praised Tommy Hilfiger for the opportunities the brand provides to aspiring fashion designers.

“Tommy [Hilfiger] and the team’s efforts in supporting emerging designers are truly commendable. He opens doors for people, and he definitely did that for me.
I don’t think I’d be where I am today in the fashion industry without his support,” Hamilton said in an interview with GQ.

New Fashion Partnership Hamilton’s seventh collaboration with a global fashion brand added Lululemon as a brand ambassador. He explained his approach to clothing materials and revealed a personal observation about women’s fashion preferences.

“When it comes to the fabrics I work with, especially when I’m designing clothes, the material is extremely important to me. There are some brands I refuse to wear because they are too itchy,” Hamilton highlighted.
Hamilton’s first weekend with Ferrari showcased his stylish outfit, including The Marino Jacket by Jacquemus ($1,850) and
Mega Wayfarer RB0840DS sunglasses ($240) to
western boots by Ernest W. Baker ($460) with Tiffany & Co. and Chrome Hearts accessories.

Hamilton’s Outlook for the Season Hamilton tackles this season maintaining an optimistic attitude. In a media interaction, including with Motorsport.com, he stated:

“Throughout my career, the pressure I’ve put on myself has always been ten times higher than any external pressure. I believe joining Ferrari hasn’t added any more pressure. It’s my own expectations driving me. I know what I can contribute and deliver. It’s all about staying focused and getting the job done.”

The transition to Ferrari, along with adapting to a new car with a different powertrain, different dynamics, and a completely new team approach, poses new physical and strategic challenges for Hamilton. He’s excited to embrace these new experiences and find a steady rhythm for the upcoming season.
