Friday night was complicated for Clint Capela and Kyshawn George.

The Genevan and the Hawks lost by 17 points (119-102) against the Lakers, while the Valaisan and the Wizards suffered the worst team in the NBA.

Clint Capela (8 points, 7 rebounds) and the Hawks suffered under the board last Friday in Los Angeles. Atlanta players had 39 shots compared to 56 for the Lakers. Anthony Davis was really dominant in the paint, with 19 rebounds. The power forward added 18 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks for a differential of +17.

LeBron James was not left out. The Lakers superstar scored 30 points, becoming the only record holder for the number of games with 30 points or more in the regular season (563), surpassing Michael Jordan (562). But ‘King James’ needed 1,522 games to reach that total, while the legend of the Bulls only played 1,072.

Lost 132-120 in New Orleans, the Wizards of Kyshawn George (5 points and 5 rebounds on Friday) fought against a CJ McCollum that was on fire: the guard scored 50 points. The Pelicans thus ended a streak of 11 losses to sign their 6th victory in 35 games. The Wizards also have 6 wins in this 2024/25 financial year but have played three fewer games.
