At the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) next June, Kylian Mbappé recently discussed his future during the France team gathering.
The question of whether to leave or extend his contract is currently on Kylian Mbappé’s mind. With his contract set to expire next June, the French striker has two options: join a new club as a free agent or extend his stay with PSG. However, the captain of the France team is not ready to address this matter at the moment. When asked about his future following the impressive victory of the French national team against Gibraltar in the Euro 2024 qualifiers (14-0), Mbappé preferred to avoid the subject.
“It’s something I don’t want to talk about, especially since I already did it in June and it took up a big part of the selection.”

“It’s something I don’t want to talk about, especially since I already did it in June and it took up a big part of the selection. I really want to focus on the national team. We have been achieving great results, and I want people to talk about that rather than me and something that will eventually be resolved. There will be a time to discuss that,” confided the 2018 World Cup champion to Téléfoot on Sunday. He has yet to make a decision.
While rumors linking Mbappé to Real Madrid persist, despite the Spanish club denying any ongoing negotiations with the former AS Monaco player, PSG still hopes to convince him to sign a contract extension. Ultimately, his decision will likely be influenced by the performance of the Parisian club, particularly in the Champions League.
As the weeks go by, the future of Kylian Mbappé is expected to be a topic of increasing discussion. Especially since he will have the opportunity to sign with the club of his choice starting from January 1st.
