Kumamoto Volters Reflect on Resilient Season Despite Promotion Setback

The Kumamoto Volters’ 2024-25 season may not have ended with promotion to B1, but it was a year marked by resilience, growth, and heartfelt gratitude. Here’s a recap of their season and the lessons learned.

Resilience despite early struggles

The Volters faced a challenging first half, falling short in many games and disappointing their passionate fanbase. However, they rallied in the second half, made it to the playoffs, and received overwhelming support throughout the season.

First 100,000 attendance since 2012

The Volters achieved a significant milestone this season, with over 100,000 attendees at their home games for the first time since being founded in 2012.
