Doncic Donates $5,000 for Mural Restoration

Luka Doncic, point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has generously stepped up to fund the repair of a vandalized mural. The Slovenian superstar has pledged $5,000 (around 4,400 euros) to restore the artwork to its former glory.

"It was always important to me to give something back to the community," said Doncic.

The artist behind the mural, Louie Palsino, had initially launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds. However, Doncic’s donation has now covered all the required costs. In an interview with the "LA Times", Palsino expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank Luka and am proud that he is now a Laker and represents Los Angeles. I know that Kobe is proud."

Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were remembered for their immense talents and kindness. Following their tragic passing in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, many murals and tributes have sprung up around the city of Los Angeles to honor their memory.
