The husband of Princess Kalina of Saxe-Coburg – Kitin Muñoz, appeared at the party dedicated to the historic first medal of Bulgarian taekwondo – the bronze of Kimia Alizade from Paris. It turned out that Muñoz is the ambassador of this sport to UNESCO.
Among the guests were our football legend Krasimir Balakov, the only boxer who defeated Floyd Mayweather in the ring – Serafim Todorov, the coach of our women’s wrestling team Petar Kasabov, Ventsi Rangelov, one of the best organizers in our country’s football, as well as Kaloyan Stoyanov-Tsymbika , now head of the Slavia boxing club.
Kimiya appeared at the party in a Bulgarian costume. She admitted that she was most impressed by the good people in our country.
Taekwondo President Slavi Binev thanked everyone involved in attracting Kimia to fight for Bulgaria, and especially Vice President Iliana Yotova, for quickly issuing the decree before the games.
