Kim Yeon-hwa added, I can do well because (Kim) Yujin protects me from the front.
”.
Road to the Finals
The path to the championship wasn’t without its challenges. Kim Yeon-hwa and Kim Yu-jin overcame a critical point in the semifinals, winning a close game against Hwang Jeong-mi and Lee Jeong-un of NH Nonghyup Bank with a score of 5-4 (tie-break 7-4) after a full game match.

Men’s Doubles Champions Crowned

In the men’s doubles competition, Park Hwan and Hwang Bo-eun of Eumseong-gun Office claimed the title. They defeated Lee Beom-jun and Song Min-ho of Seoul City Hall with a game score of 5-3 in the semifinals.
Park Hwan expressed his satisfaction, I did a lot of winter training. I placed third with Kim Hyun-soo (Daejeon Dong-gu Office) in the national team selection competition and earned the Taegeuk symbol, but I was very disappointed. Yet, it was my first time working with junior Hwang Bo-eun, so there were difficulties, but we overcame them well. I feel good because I won my first competition of the season.
”
Hwang Bo-eun added, Unfortunately we lost to Suncheon City Hall in the finals of the team event. So, I worked harder to help the team and I am happy with the good results. I learned a lot by being in a group with my brother (Park Hwan), who is good, and we even won the championship. I am especially grateful to coach Seung-hoon Yoo and coach Byeong-du Kim for their hard work in managing this tournament.
”
