Harry Kane finally got his first taste of a major trophy, and he wasn’t shy about celebrating. The 31-year-old Tottenham Hotspur loanee scored a prolific 80 goals in his first season for Bayern Munich, leading them to their 34th Bundesliga title.

Without the usual trophy-trampling journalist horde, Kane and his teammates chose Munich’s elite restaurant Käfer to let loose and toast their feat. The champion striker shared several snippets from the evening on his Instagram, with over 17 million followers tagging along virtually.

In a star-studded gruppo, Kane partied with teammates like Joshua Kimmich, Eric Dier, Serge Gnabry, and Leon Goretzka. The night’s repertoire included karaoke classics like “Sweet Caroline” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads”.

Munich keeps quiet

While the team let loose, the city remained surprisingly subdued. Munich’s Marienplatz was devoid of wild celebrations. Autokorsos and fan gatherings were nowhere to be found. Only 30 devotees braved the late-night chills outside the Käfer to catch a glimpse and maybe an autograph.

Supporters will have to wait until the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach to celebrate together at the Allianz Arena.
