The International Judo Federation (IJF) has stirred up the judo world with fresh updates to its calendar for the close of 2025. The most notable shift sees the Junior World Championships relocate from Amman, Jordan, to Lima, Peru. Originally slated for October 23-26, the event will now take place from October 5-8, preceding Lima’s Grand Prix by a few days.

- China (Qingdao) – September 26-28: The Grand Prix in Qingdao remains unchanged.

- Croatia (Zagreb) – Mid-November (14-16): Originally scheduled for October, Zagreb’s Grand Prix has been pushed back to mid-November.
- Abu Dhabi – November 27-29: The Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi will take place a week before Tokyo’s Grand Slam.
