Trump Schmacked by Three Centuries, Books Quarter-Final Spot

In a dominant display, World number one Judd Trump stormed into the quarter-finals of the Masters with a resounding 6-2 victory over Ding Junhui. Trump, the two-time Masters champion, has now beaten Ding in five consecutive matches.

Trump’s Century Breaks Power Him Ahead

The Englishman started the match on fire, compiling breaks of 116 and 69 to quickly lead 3-0. Ding, the 2011 Masters champion, managed to claw one frame back with a run of 98, followed by a 53 to reduce the deficit to 3-2.

Trump then extend his lead with an 88 break before showcasing his class with a magnificent 117 and a match-winning break of 109.

Trump will now face Mark Allen from Northern Ireland in the quarter-finals, scheduled for Thursday at 19:00 GMT.
