Rahm Returns to Form in Hong Kong

Jon Rahm has broken a 540-day stretch without an individual victory, winning the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong. This marks his third LIV Golf title and first since LIV Golf Chicago in 2024. Rahm finished at 23 under par, carding rounds of 66-62-65-64.

The Spaniard’s performance included a strong final round with four birdies and one bogey on both the front and back nine, holding off a challenge from the 4Aces GC’s Belgian duo.

“I played really good all day,” said Rahm. “Even though I shot 6 under, what could have been with quite a few short putts missed and an errant shot on 18. It was incredible. But I just tried to stay exceptionally patient and committed to each shot, knowing that I was doing everything right and things were going to happen. I think that was the theme pretty much every round this week.”

4Aces GC Secures First Team Title Since 2023

The 4Aces GC also ended a winless streak, securing their first team victory since LIV Golf London in 2023. They finished third in the first two events of 2026, setting the stage for their success in Hong Kong.

The team’s victory was fueled by strong performances from Thomas Detry and Thomas Pieters, with captain Dustin Johnson and Anthony Kim also contributing to the effort.

Detry and Pieters Finish Strong

Thomas Detry finished as the runner-up, three strokes behind Rahm, after overcoming travel issues that limited his practice time. He carded rounds of 64-63-66-67. Thomas Pieters secured his first podium finish on LIV Golf, finishing third at 19 under par with rounds of 68-66-61-66.
